Israel continues military operation in West Bank for second day... 10 dead
Amid the Israeli military conducting operations in refugee camps in the West Bank under the pretext of suppressing terrorist forces, the number of Palestinian casualties from this operation has risen to 10, according to major media outlets citing Palestinian authorities on the 4th (local time).
According to reports, the Palestinian death toll from the military operation that began on the 3rd has reached 10, with 100 injured. Among the injured, 20 are in serious condition. Armed factions such as Hamas have claimed that some of the deceased are 'martyrs.'
The Israeli military has also reportedly confirmed 9 Palestinian deaths. The Israeli police added that 120 suspects have been detained for investigation. Tzachi Hanavi, Israel's National Security Advisor, stated in a radio interview that "the operation is close to achieving its objectives."
Meanwhile, the Israeli military conducted airstrikes on several buildings in the refugee camp area of Jenin in the northern West Bank the previous day and deployed troops to engage with armed groups. The operation involved more than ten drones and approximately 1,000 ground troops.
