Daejeon City Provides Household Service Support to Low-Income Single-Parent Families
Daejeon City announced on the 4th that it will provide housekeeping services to low-income single-parent families in the region starting this month.
The support targets single-parent families residing in Daejeon with an income at or below 120% of the median standard income, who work at least 15 days per month or an average of 120 hours per month, and are raising children aged 12 or younger.
However, even if the first child is older than 12, families with preschool children can still receive housekeeping support services.
Daejeon City plans to support eligible households with housekeeping service fees once a week (up to 40,000 KRW per session; any amount exceeding this will be borne by the recipient).
Applications for the service can be made through the Daejeon City Family Center. Once selected as a beneficiary, users can utilize services through commercial housekeeping service platforms and submit supporting documents to claim the costs, after which the service fees will be reimbursed.
For more detailed information regarding housekeeping service support, inquiries can be made through the Daejeon City Family Center.
