Kia Launches ‘New Car-Level’ Morning Facelift Starting at 13.15 Million KRW
Exterior Design Changed
Lowest Trim Minus, Removed in This Model
Kia announced that it will launch the updated model year version of the Morning on the 5th. The company explained that it features exterior design changes equivalent to a new car, along with class-leading advanced driver assistance systems and convenience features. However, the previous model's minus trim priced in the 11 million KRW range has been discontinued.
The Morning combines a gasoline 1.0 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission, achieving a class-leading combined fuel efficiency of 15.1 km/ℓ based on 14-inch wheels.
The prices are 13.15 million KRW for the Trendy trim, 14.85 million KRW for Prestige, and 16.55 million KRW for Signature. The van model is priced at 12.9 million KRW for Trendy and 13.6 million KRW for Prestige.
Standard features include an 8-inch display audio system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rearview monitor, power-folding outside mirrors, and a first-row C-type USB charging port. The smart key system with remote start function and second-row C-type USB charging port are optional.
It also comes equipped with advanced driver assistance systems such as navigation-based smart cruise control (without stop and go function), forward collision avoidance assist, and glare-reducing high beam assist.
The company also released a 2-seater van model. It enhances safety with a standard 6-airbag system and includes an 8-inch display audio, rearview monitor, and first-row C-type USB charging port as standard features.
This model is the first in its class to apply LED headlamps and center positioning lamps. The front features a cleanly finished bumper that harmonizes with the black grille. The side character line extends to the rear, complementing the 16-inch wheels.
Customers can choose from seven exterior colors, including the newly added Adventurous Green and Signal Red, and three interior color options.
