Fowler earned 3.56 points in the men's golf weekly world rankings announced on the afternoon of the 2nd (local time), jumping 12 spots from 35th place last week. He accumulated points by winning the PGA Tour Rocket Mortgage Classic (total prize money $8.8 million), which concluded that morning at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan, USA (par 72, 7,370 yards). This is his 6th career victory, his first in 4 years and 5 months since the Phoenix Open in February 2019, with a winner's prize of $1,584,000 (approximately 2.1 billion KRW).
