The National Service Awards are hosted by the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies (IPS) and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Every year, the awards recognize the best brands that represent South Korea’s industries and are loved by consumers. In this year’s survey, AiCANDO received high praise for providing personalized learning content and actively conducting online and offline marketing activities through the ‘Ai Study Confidence’ campaign to strengthen brand trust and expand consumer experience.
‘AiCANDO’ is an AI-based learning material covering all subjects for elementary students from grades 1 to 6. It offers an AI analysis-based learning system designed to help students build study confidence and learn independently. For personalized learning, students can study with a curriculum and learning environment tailored to each individual. It measures and analyzes non-learning data such as learner’s gaze and facial expressions, as well as learning history, to help sustain learning. Another advantage is that the AI comprehensively analyzes monthly learning data to recommend the optimal personalized learning course for each learner and provides learning feedback.
‘AiCANDO Nuri Kids’ for children aged 4 to 7 applies curricula and learning methods that consider the significant developmental and learning level differences among young learners by age. It also offers play-based content that stimulates the five senses to enhance learning efficiency and make studying feel like play. The Nuri stage consists of an integrated thematic learning curriculum. It expands familiar everyday topics into Korean language, Nuri activities, and math subjects for young children to help improve convergent thinking skills. The Kids stage focuses on a curriculum that prepares children for school studies before entering elementary school.
