Ulsan City to Expand Hydrogen Electric Vehicle Supply... 20 Billion KRW Subsidy for 200 Vehicles at 34 Million KRW Each
Applications Accepted from July 3 for Individuals and Corporations with Ulsan Addresses
Cumulative Distribution of 2,863 Units, 12 Hydrogen Refueling Stations Established
On the 30th, Ulsan City announced the '2023 Additional Hydrogen Electric Vehicle Supply Project' to improve air pollution and reduce fine dust.
The additional supply this time is 200 units, with a purchase subsidy of 34 million KRW per vehicle. The application period is from July 3rd until the project budget is exhausted, and subsidy recipients will be selected in the order of vehicle delivery.
Eligible applicants are citizens aged 18 or older and corporations who have continuously resided in Ulsan City for more than 90 days prior to the application date. However, corporations or business entities can apply for up to 10 hydrogen electric vehicles.
The application method is to submit the purchase support application documents when signing a hydrogen vehicle purchase contract at each Hyundai Motor sales office.
Buyers of hydrogen electric vehicles who receive the subsidy must maintain vehicle registration in Ulsan during the mandatory operation period of 2 years. If the vehicle is scrapped during the mandatory operation period, prior approval from Ulsan City must be obtained.

Ulsan City has supplied a total of 2,863 hydrogen electric vehicles from 2014 to June of this year. This year, a total of 12 hydrogen charging stations have been established, including one at the cargo truck parking lot in Sanggae-dong, Nam-gu.
