In Yeongju-si, Gyeongbuk Province, where a heavy rain warning was issued, a 14-month-old girl was rescued from a house buried by a landslide and was transported to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.
According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters on the 30th, at around 4:43 a.m. that day, a house in Sangmang-dong, Yeongju-si, Gyeongbuk, was buried under a pile of soil due to a landslide.
The fire authorities first rescued 9 of the 10 family members trapped inside the house, but the 14-month-old girl could not be extracted in time, and rescue operations continued on site for about two hours.
The girl was found in cardiac arrest around 7 a.m. and was transported to a nearby hospital.
