Membership+Any DTG Integration, Enhancing B2B Vehicle Management Efficiency and Contributing to Road Safety
Openmile, a provider of B2B (business-to-business) vehicle management services, announced on the 29th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Anymobility, a leading company in affordable automatic driving recorders (DTG), to enhance vehicle management efficiency.
The signing ceremony, held at Openmile’s headquarters in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, was attended by Openmile’s CEO Kyunghyun Park and Director Jisoo Kim, as well as Anymobility’s CEO Giju Do, Director Junsu Lee, and Director Myungcheol Shin.
Openmile and Anymobility agreed to prioritize applying the affordable model "Any DTG," which combines DTG and On-Board Diagnostics (OBD), to customers. This will help manage vehicle conditions and driving records, supporting drivers’ cost-effectiveness, convenience, and safe driving.
To this end, "Any DTG" will first be applied to commercial vehicles operated by Openmile, and the data collected will be utilized in monitoring services to efficiently manage commercial and B2B vehicles.
In particular, they plan to strengthen cooperation by ▲ continuously managing vehicle conditions through linkage with the Openmile membership vehicle management solution ▲ building vehicle/driver management solutions reflecting the needs of B2B partners ▲ jointly developing services and sales in the commercial vehicle market.
Giju Do, CEO of Anymobility, stated, "‘Any DTG,’ developed through research projects by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, has achieved tangible results by selling over 40,000 units in a short period in the cargo truck and children’s school bus markets. Through collaboration with Openmile, we will expand our customer base to vehicles under 1 ton and serve as a smart assistant responsible for the safety of all commercial vehicle drivers through combined Openmile membership products."
Kyunghyun Park, CEO of Openmile, said, "Ensuring the safety of vehicles such as cargo trucks over 1 ton and children’s school buses that roam the streets, and helping business owners systematically manage them, is socially very important. By combining Anymobility’s ‘Any DTG’ with Openmile’s expertise in IT development and vehicle management solutions, we will establish ourselves as a key operator in the logistics and distribution sector within the vehicle aftermarket."
