Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will operate the ‘Seocho Usage Guide in My Hand’ service from July 1, allowing residents to check useful life information at a glance on mobile devices to celebrate the first anniversary of the 8th local government.
In March, the district produced and distributed a booklet called ‘Seocho Usage Guide’ reflecting residents’ requests to conveniently check various life information and policies integrated in one place.
The newly launched ‘Seocho Usage Guide in My Hand’ service is based on the previously produced booklet and has been developed as a mobile-friendly webpage so that residents can easily find local life information anytime and anywhere.
‘Seocho Usage Guide in My Hand’ is organized into six categories on a single webpage: △Life Information △All (information on facilities available to all residents), and by age group △Infants △Children △Adolescents & Youth △Seniors, covering all necessary information for life in Seocho-gu.
In particular, an infographic design (*visualizing information using design elements) has been applied to intuitively deliver information, making it easy for residents to find what they need.
The ‘Seocho Usage Guide in My Hand’ is accessible on both mobile and PC, enhancing resident accessibility by allowing them to view images and necessary information at a glance on a single page.
Additionally, clicking on each category provides detailed information and links to related websites, improving user convenience.
Key information includes the ‘Infants’ section, which details operation information for Seocho Maternal and Child Health Center, Seocho-gu Childcare Support Center, Toy Library, Seoripul Nori School, and various childcare support policies such as Seocho Childcare Helper and Grandchild Care Helper programs.
Information for ‘Seniors’ includes the ‘Grandchild Care Helper Project,’ which provides up to 300,000 KRW monthly allowance for seniors caring for grandchildren under 24 months, operation information for ‘Regional Filial Piety Buses,’ and details on ‘Neutinamu Rest Area,’ where seniors can enjoy various leisure, cultural activities, and education.
Furthermore, information on the use of cultural, sports, and welfare facilities is provided to support residents’ diverse leisure activities and self-development.
‘Seocho Usage Guide in My Hand’ can be accessed from July 1 via a shortcut button on the Seocho-gu Office homepage main screen or by searching ‘Seocho Usage Guide’ on portal sites.
To promote the webpage to many residents, the district will hold an event throughout July via the homepage and SNS. Through a draw, a total of 160 participants will receive generous prizes to revitalize the local economy, including Seocho Love Gift Certificates worth 50,000 KRW (10 winners), 30,000 KRW (20 winners), portable mini fans to help beat the summer heat (30 winners), ice cream (50 winners), and iced coffee (50 winners).
To participate, residents must submit the correct answer to the consonant puzzle ‘내 손 안의 ㅅㅊㅅㅇㅂ’ along with a screenshot proving they follow Seocho-gu Office’s SNS on the Seocho-gu Office homepage. Winners will be announced in August on the Seocho-gu Office homepage and official SNS.
