Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) held the ‘Listening Talk-Talk for the Sound Operation of Public Financial Payments’ on the 28th at the main auditorium.
The district invited about 150 representatives and practitioners of private subsidy projects and responsible public officials to communicate, ensuring that public finances such as subsidies and reimbursements are executed transparently and efficiently where needed.
First, Mayor Kim Kyung-ho listened to the difficulties experienced by private subsidy organizations in various fields such as ▲social welfare ▲education ▲general public administration during the execution of public financial payments and discussed practical improvement measures.
Opinions raised included “There are many duplicate document submissions,” “The subsidy management system is complicated to use,” and “Pre-execution training and detailed manuals are needed before subsidy disbursement.”
Mayor Kim said, “Subsidy execution is complicated and difficult,” adding, “We will simplify the documents that can be confirmed through the system and minimize procedures to improve efficiency.”
Following this, a special lecture on the sound operation of public finances was conducted.
The lecture was delivered by Joo Yang-soon, a specialist in integrity education from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
