Hampyeong-gun will fully implement the 'Lunch Break Closure System' starting July 3.
On the 28th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that civil service operations in nine towns and townships, including the Civil Service Department of the county office, will be suspended during lunch hours from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
The Lunch Break Closure System is being promoted to guarantee break time for civil service officers handling civil affairs and to improve work efficiency by enhancing working conditions.
Before the full-scale implementation of the system, the county conducted a pilot operation at four locations, including Hampyeong-eup and Haebo-myeon, starting in April to minimize inconvenience to civil petitioners.
Additionally, unmanned civil service issuance machines were expanded to allow civil petitioners to obtain certificates during lunch hours, and promotional activities were carried out using SNS and banners.
A county official stated, “We will continue to improve civil service by addressing inconveniences as the Lunch Break Closure System is implemented.”
