In the middle of the night, a tree toppled over due to heavy rain and struck a house, causing an emergency evacuation commotion.
According to the fire department, around 2:40 a.m. on the 28th, a pine tree fell onto the roof of a house in Sotae-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The pine tree from the hill behind toppled, and its branches pierced through the roof into the room. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
At the time, a woman in her 60s was alone in the house, and it has been reported that she is currently living with her family after evacuating to a friend's house.
