The training was conducted in the same manner as national-level exam item development and CSAT-linked textbook development. The Office of Education was responsible for planning and managing the training, while the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) handled instructor support, content development, and training operation.
A total of 98 teachers participated across 11 subjects in 4 areas. To maximize participants' experience in developing evaluation items aligned with the CSAT system, each class was organized with 7 teachers and 2 instructors, allowing close supervision and intensive practical training.
Instructors included 28 experts in each area, such as lead authors of linked textbooks and team leaders and experienced personnel in national-level exam item development.
Based on the item development theory training conducted in May, all participants completed item development assignments over four weeks. The training concluded with an in-person session on June 24-25, focusing on intensive review of the developed items.
The Office of Education plans to continue enhancing the expertise of participants by providing opportunities such as involvement in EBS textbook authoring and review, participation in national-level assessment item development and review, and appointment as item development training instructors, to ensure the training content spreads to the field.
