Vehicle Hits India After Taking Zolpidem... 40s Driver Booked
A man in his 40s who was driving after taking the psychotropic drug 'Zolpidem' crashed into a utility pole and guardrail next to a sidewalk and was caught by the police.
On the 27th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that they had booked a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.
Mr. A is accused of hitting a utility pole and guardrail next to the sidewalk near Samho Garden Intersection in Seocho-gu, Seoul, at around 4:35 p.m. the previous day. There were no pedestrians on the sidewalk at the time, and Mr. A was not injured.
It is known that immediately after the accident, Mr. A told the police that he had taken two pills of Zolpidem. Zolpidem is a psychotropic drug that can only be taken with a doctor's prescription.
