GH Announces Call for Papers and Ideas on Carbon-Neutral Housing and Cities

View original imageGyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is holding a housing and urban thesis and idea contest for carbon neutrality.
This contest was organized to raise awareness of the climate crisis and to discover creative ideas from university (graduate) students in the housing and urban sectors for eco-friendly carbon neutrality.
GH is hosting the event, and the Korean Association for Environmental Policy Studies is managing the contest.
GH will accept submissions from September 21 to 30, and announce the winners on October 31 after the final evaluation.
Eligibility is open to university and graduate students regardless of major, and applications can be submitted individually or in teams of up to three members.
GH will award a total prize of 13 million KRW to 14 teams: 3 million KRW for one grand prize team, 2 million KRW for one excellence prize team, 1 million KRW each for four merit prize teams, and 500,000 KRW each for eight special prize teams.

Kim Se-yong, president of GH, emphasized, "We will fulfill the role of Gyeonggi Province’s leading public institution to ensure that carbon neutrality contributes practically to eco-friendly housing development and the improvement of energy welfare for residents."
