Kocca Operates Korean Pavilion at Shanghai TV Festival for the First Time in 4 Years
101 Export Consultations with Ten Domestic Companies
The Korea Creative Content Agency's Beijing Business Center announced on the 26th that it operated a Korean joint pavilion for the first time in four years at the Shanghai TV Festival held in Shanghai, China from the 19th to the 21st. The Shanghai TV Festival is the most prestigious broadcasting and video market in China. This year, about ninety companies and over 2,000 broadcasting and video content industry professionals participated.
The Korean joint pavilion was set up in Hall 1 West of the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Ten domestic companies participated, including MBC, CJ ENM, SBS Contents Hub, SLL, KBS Media, Kim Jong-hak Production, Graphics, Yoon & Company, EO Contents, and HYBE. They met with major Chinese broadcasters and platform companies such as Shanghai Media Group, Huace Media, Xinli Media, Bona Film, and Hunan Satellite, recording 101 export consultations with a total consultation amount of 33.05 million USD. A representative from the Korea Creative Content Agency stated, "Despite the strained Korea-China relations, there was high interest in K-dramas and variety programs."

During the event, the Korea Creative Content Agency's Beijing Center also visited Shanghai Media Group and Bilibili headquarters for business cooperation meetings. They explored various export opportunities, including holding business meetings with Hunan Satellite's overseas rights managers. An agency representative said, "Shanghai Media Group and Bilibili will participate in the International Broadcasting & Video Market (BCWW) held in Seoul in August to expand networking with Korean companies," adding, "We also plan to expand human exchanges by operating short-term workforce training programs."
