CEOs will gather in one place to share perceptions of the domestic pharmaceutical and bio industry and explore ways to advance the industry.

The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association announced on the 26th that it will hold the '2023 Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Association CEO Forum' on the morning of July 5th at the Chosun Palace Hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. This forum will be the first large-scale face-to-face meeting with member company CEOs since Chairman Noh Yeon-hong took office in March.
At the forum, following Chairman Noh's opening remarks, Hyun Byung-hwan, head of the Bio iCore Project Group at Daejeon University (former director of the National Biotechnology Policy Center), will present on "Response and Development Strategies of Korean Pharmaceutical and Bio Companies Amid the Complex Economic Crisis (tentative title)." Then, Kim Dong-soo, head of the ESG Research Institute at Kim & Chang, will give a lecture on "ESG Risks and Opportunities That Pharmaceutical and Bio CEOs Should Know (tentative title)."
At the end of the event, participants are expected to adopt a joint resolution expressing their commitment to repay the support of the government and the public amid rising expectations and status of the pharmaceutical and bio industry.
