Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hosts 'Modu, Value Notification' Contest
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 26th that it will conduct 'Everyone, Value Notification,' a campaign to directly inform the public about necessary policies. This is a policy communication contest involving public participation. Participants choose one of nineteen policies from fifteen ministries and promote it together with policy managers and PR experts.
Citizens who wish to participate can submit their promotional plans on the website 'K-Sotong' by the 23rd of next month. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will select one team per policy in the preliminary round and hold a final briefing session on August 2nd. Those who pass the threshold will form a team with policy managers and PR experts in the finals. Over approximately three weeks, they will develop their plans and carry out TV advertisements, campaigns, and more. The ministry will award the Minister's Prize to the grand prize and excellence award winners. Kim Hyun-jun, Communication Support Officer at the Ministry, said, "This was planned to better inform the public about policies closely related to their daily lives," adding, "We will approach the public one step closer with promotions tailored to their level."

The candidate policies include the Fair Trade Commission's 'Prevention of Damage from Similar Investment Advisory,' the Ministry of Government Legislation's 'Counting by Full Age,' the Ministry of Health and Welfare's 'Advancement of Social Services,' the Ministry of Environment's 'Reducing Single-Use Products,' the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's 'Easy Copyright Awareness from Age Three to Eighty,' the Korea Customs Service's 'Smart Overseas Direct Purchase Life,' the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Hometown Love Donation System,' and the Ministry of Education's 'Schools Free from Illegal Filming,' among others.
