30s Mother Arrested for Killing Two Infants and 'Refrigerating' Them
Two Infants Murdered and Stored in Refrigerator Discovered
Waived Detention Hearing, Decision Made Through Written Review
A woman in her 30s who killed two infants and stored their bodies in a refrigerator has been detained. On the 23rd, Chief Judge Cha Jin-seok of the Suwon District Court, responsible for warrant hearings, issued an arrest warrant for Ms. A on charges of infant homicide. Chief Judge Cha stated, "There is sufficient evidence of the crime, and there is a risk of flight."
Earlier, Ms. A waived her right to the substantive warrant hearing scheduled for 2:30 PM that day. Accordingly, the court decided on her detention solely through a written review without a separate hearing.
