Lee Gijae, mayor of Yangcheon District, attended the '2023 Yangcheon District Veterans Family Festival' held at Haenuri Hall in Haenuri Town on the afternoon of the 22nd.
In celebration of the Month of Patriots and Veterans, the event, held with respect and gratitude to those who dedicated themselves to the nation, was attended by over 400 members of veterans organizations and proceeded in the order of ▲commendation of exemplary veterans ▲guest congratulatory speeches ▲veterans family festival performances.
Before the ceremony, various booths were operated, including a large photo zone inscribed with the slogan "Great Sacrifice Forever in Our Hearts" and health booths measuring blood pressure and blood sugar.
The musical "The Returned Entertainment Party," a reinterpretation of the 2023 version of the "Joyful Entertainment Party" performance for Vietnam War veterans, received great acclaim from the veterans. In particular, the elderly presidents of the Korean War Veterans Association and the Vietnam Veterans Association took the stage to sing and reminisce about the past, creating a touching atmosphere.
