Song Young-gil: "If the prosecution does not summon me this time, I will set up a tent in front of the prosecution office"
Lee Won-seok's 'Amazing' Remark... "A Thief Feeling Guilty"
Song Young-gil, former leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is suspected of being involved in the 2021 Democratic Party convention money envelope scandal, threatened to pitch a tent in front of the prosecution office if he is not summoned by the prosecutors.
On the 23rd, Song said on YTN's "News King Park Ji-hoon" program, "I have already gone to the prosecution office twice asking them to investigate. If they do not summon me and only investigate those around me, this time I will not just go, but I will pitch a tent in front of the prosecution office and try to endure until the end."

In social life, the prosecution must conclude either with a dismissal or indictment so that I can move on. Leaving it under investigation continuously completely wears a person down."
Regarding Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party leader, declaring the 'waiver of immunity from arrest,' Song said, "I positively evaluated what Leader Lee did," but added, "Article 44 of the Constitution grants immunity from arrest as a constitutional right necessary for legislation. Especially under the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution dictatorship regime, I believe it is necessary to fight. Therefore, it is impossible to waive it as a system, and I do not think a personal waiver promise is acceptable either."
Song quoted Byun Hee-jae's claim that "the prosecution manipulated the tablet PC during the investigation of former President Park Geun-hye," but Prosecutor General Lee Won-seok responded, "It is regrettable and surprising that a person who was once the leader of the Democratic Party made a statement aligning with Choi Soon-sil's claim that the tablet PC was manipulated."
In response, Song said, "I think the thief feels guilty. The core figures suspected of manipulating the tablet PC are President Yoon Seok-yeol, Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon, and Prosecutor General Lee Won-seok," adding, "these people were directly involved in the Jang Si-ho tablet PC issue during the special prosecutor investigation."
