Onul's House announced on the 23rd that it will introduce the 'Construction Responsibility Guarantee' service, which compensates for damages such as defects and delays during construction to ensure customers using interior construction services can feel secure.
The Construction Responsibility Guarantee is a system where Onul's House resolves issues at its own expense if defects occur during construction at the customer's home by the interior construction company brokered by Onul's House, or if the construction period is delayed beyond the contract.
Onul's House will adopt a standard contract for all agreements made between guarantee-responsible companies and customers. Based on the Fair Trade Commission's 'Standard Contract for Interior Construction and Window Installation,' an electronic contract has been prepared that clearly defines the responsibilities of interior companies and includes provisions to protect customers. If defects or delays occur during the construction process, Onul's House's dedicated customer satisfaction team will intervene to mediate disputes. If it is judged that the interior company lacks the capability to properly complete the construction, Onul's House will carry out the construction and after-service (AS) through designated partner companies. In case of losses to customers due to construction delays, cash compensation of up to 200,000 KRW per day will be provided, including accommodation fees and storage fees.

The responsibility guarantee service will initially be provided for comprehensive construction of residential spaces and will be gradually applied to individual residential construction and commercial space construction. Kim Kyunghoon, Head of Onul's House O2O Business Division, said, "The Construction Responsibility Guarantee is the first system introduced in the online construction brokerage industry to protect customers from various damages that can occur during the interior construction process, such as incomplete construction and failure to perform defect repairs," adding, "We will continue to strive to ensure customers can feel secure and have the best experience during the troublesome interior construction process."
