The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has expressed strong support for the government's 'Measures to Enhance the Competitiveness of Public Education.'
On the 22nd, the Office of Education stated in a press release titled 'We Will Actively Participate in the Implementation of Measures to Enhance the Competitiveness of Public Education in the Educational Field,' "We agree with the goal of realizing responsible education by the nation, education offices, and schools based on diversity and autonomy, as well as student-tailored education, and we expect it to be meaningful in various aspects of the educational field."
The Office of Education first analyzed, "These enhancement measures will help provide and expand diversity so that each student can demonstrate their various strengths and potential."
It also said, "It will serve as a foundation for the 'balanced' growth of students," adding, "This will contribute to the growth of future talents equipped with integrative competencies, not biased solely toward knowledge, through student-tailored education based on comprehensive diagnosis of academic achievement, emotions, and character."
Furthermore, it stated, "Classes utilizing edutech will transform into awakened classrooms in the digital age," and "Teachers will become the protagonists of classroom change, evolving from simple knowledge transmitters to managers of student competencies, thereby enhancing the status of public education."
