Hamyang-gun Confirms This Year's Active Administration Implementation Plan
Focus on 5 Strategies and 12 Detailed Tasks
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has finalized its 2023 Active Administration Implementation Plan and will focus on promoting 12 detailed tasks across 5 areas.
With the goal of "realizing easily approachable active administration," the county will advance 12 detailed implementation tasks under five strategies: ▲ fostering an active administration culture ▲ strengthening preferential treatment for outstanding active administration public officials ▲ expanding protection and support for active administration public officials ▲ preventing and reforming passive administration ▲ enhancing participation and communication in active administration.
In particular, the county plans to support active administration within the public sector by promoting detailed tasks such as ▲ activating the exemption system for active administration public officials ▲ supporting litigation for active administration public officials ▲ and implementing pre-consultation and opinion presentation systems.
At the same time, strict measures against passive administration public officials and education to prevent passive administration will be conducted to eradicate passive administration within the organization.

Jin Byeong-yeong, the county governor, stated, “To realize administration that satisfies residents, we will strengthen support and preferential measures for active administration and spread an active administration culture within the organization through efforts to eradicate passive administration.”
