"Personalized Sustainable Mobility Experience" Hyundai Motor's New Challenge with Japanese Company
Hyundai Motor Company has partnered with a Japanese lifestyle content company to target the Japanese zero emission vehicle (ZEV) market. The plan is to provide personalized mobility experiences through new concept mobility services and data-driven marketing.
On the 22nd, Hyundai Motor announced that it signed a business agreement with the Japanese lifestyle content company Culture Convenience Club (CCC) to lead ZEV mobility lifestyle initiatives and jointly discover new services.
The signing ceremony held at Tokyo Daikanyama T-SITE was attended by key figures including Hyundai Motor President Jang Jae-hoon, CCC President Takahashi Yasunori, and about 100 local Japanese media representatives. CCC is a company engaged in content business using online and offline platforms. It plans various internet services and new platform services, proposing new lifestyles through these platforms.

Hyundai Motor and CCC selected three main collaboration areas: ▲ new concept mobility services ▲ data-driven marketing ▲ building a global experience platform. Starting from the 23rd, Hyundai Motor will operate its vehicle sharing service "Motion" at the commercial facility Tokyo Daikanyama T-SITE operated by CCC. Visitors to T-SITE can use Hyundai Motor’s charging facilities and share the Ioniq 5.
Furthermore, the two companies will collaborate on database marketing to propose new lifestyles. They will conduct personalized marketing by utilizing Hyundai Motor’s vehicle data and CCC’s customer data. Based on their data, they will also jointly promote new lifestyle-related businesses.
Lastly, Hyundai Motor and CCC plan to build an "EV experience platform." The goal is to create an experience platform that can be utilized beyond Japan to the ASEAN market. Hyundai Motor is currently designing a new mobility lifestyle space inside a complex hub under construction in the ASEAN region together with CCC, and they will jointly develop content.

President Jang said, "We expect to create new possibilities through collaboration between a mobility company and a content company," adding, "By thoroughly analyzing customer preferences, CCC and Hyundai Motor will spread the ZEV culture we pursue and build a differentiated brand image in Japan."
