Mongolia Erden Gun and Bornor Gun Visit Namhae Gun ... Foster Friendly Exchanges
Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 20th that a delegation from Erden-gun and Boronor-gun in Mongolia visited Namhae-gun from the 15th to the 18th for friendly exchanges.

View original imageLast November, Namhae-gun signed a memorandum of understanding with Erden-gun and Boronor-gun at the Mongolian Embassy in Korea for mutual cooperation in tourism, culture, and agriculture and livestock industries.
The delegation, consisting of Sharhu Gerterd, Vice Governor of Erden-gun, and Chedeng Altanhuyag, a council member of Boronor-gun, toured the Namhae Agricultural Technology Center’s smart greenhouse and microbial culture center on the 16th. They also visited local agricultural production sites in Namhae, expressing admiration as they directly observed advanced agricultural technologies utilizing smart greenhouses.
They showed particular interest in experiencing the automated smart greenhouse and exchanged opinions on its productivity, installation costs, and the dispatch of Mongolian industrial trainees.
Following this, a welcome dinner was held with participation from County Governor Jang Chung-nam, County Council Chairman Im Tae-sik, and Provincial Assembly Member Ryu Kyung-wan, reaffirming their commitment to mutual growth. They also attended the opening ceremony of the 18th Namhae Garlic Hanwoo Festival to show their support.
On the 17th, the delegation concluded their schedule in Namhae by visiting Boriam Hermitage, German Village, and Sangju Silver Sand Beach.
Sharhu Gerterd, Vice Governor of the Mongolian delegation, said, “We are grateful for Namhae-gun’s invitation and hospitality, and it was a valuable opportunity to experience Namhae-gun’s beautiful tourist resources and various excellent agricultural technology cases.” He added, “We hope to introduce industrial trainees and seasonal workers for benchmarking Namhae-gun’s outstanding technology in the future.”
Governor Jang said, “Namhae-gun has various experiences overcoming harsh natural environments and lack of human resources through technology. Let us promote exchange and cooperation projects for mutual development in diverse fields such as culture, economy, agriculture, and seasonal workers.”

Namhae-gun plans to visit Erden-gun and Boronor-gun in July and intends to promote various exchange and cooperation projects, including agricultural product exports and the implementation of seasonal workers.
