Jungjingong Hosts 'SME Policy Idea Contest'
New Category for Improving SME Awareness
Total Prize Money of 21 Million KRW
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 20th that it will hold the 31st Small and Medium Business Policy Idea Contest to discover demand-driven policies and innovate the institution's operations and support projects.
SBC has been holding the contest since 1991 to raise public awareness of small and medium enterprises and to discover various policy ideas. The contest categories are ▲Idea Report ▲Improvement of Small Business Awareness.
The contest topics for the Idea Report are ▲Policy ideas for the globalization of small and medium enterprises ▲Ways to improve the quality of SBC's digital services, and participants are required to write a report within 6 pages choosing one of these topics.
This year, the newly established Small Business Awareness Improvement category includes topics such as ▲Content that can improve awareness of small and medium enterprises ▲Content encouraging employment in small and medium enterprises based on experience, internships, and practical training in small and medium enterprises. Participants can freely create their own ideas in a video under 3 minutes or a webtoon with more than 8 panels.
By submitting entries on the contest website by the 14th of next month, the final winners will be selected through a first screening by SBC's field departments, expert evaluation, and online public evaluation. The total prize money is 21 million KRW. Winners will receive preferential treatment when applying to SBC within 2 years after winning.
