View original imageSeongbuk-gu and Seoul Cheongdeok Elementary School signed a 'School Sports Facility Opening Support Agreement' on the 15th at the Seongbuk-gu Office Mayor's Office.
According to the agreement, Seongbuk-gu will provide facility improvement funds to Seoul Cheongdeok Elementary School on the condition that the facilities are opened to local residents. Seoul Cheongdeok Elementary School plans to open its sports facilities after replacing the gymnasium lighting and soccer goals on the playground.
This agreement is expected to help meet the demand for community sports by utilizing school sports facilities in Seoul, where available land is extremely limited.

Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “Through this agreement, we expect to establish a cooperative system based on sharing and mutual growth between the district office and the school, and by opening school sports facilities, greatly contribute to improving residents' health and promoting community sports.”
