20s Vietnamese Caught Driving Without License and Illegal Stay
A man in his 20s who was driving without a license and was found to be an illegal immigrant was caught by the police.
The Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station announced on the 19th that they have booked and are investigating Mr. A, a Vietnamese national in his 20s who is an illegal immigrant, without detention on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (driving without a license and crossing the center line), forgery of official documents, and violation of the Immigration Control Act.
Mr. A is accused of driving without a license and crossing the center line at an intersection in Songjeong-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, around 3:50 p.m. on the 17th.
He presented his younger brother’s ID to the police officer to hide his illegal immigrant status, but the lie was exposed. Currently, his younger brother is wanted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
