The racetrack water park is back after 4 years.
Korea Racing Authority's LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam announced that it will hold the '2023 Thumbs Up Water Festival.' The event will take place at LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam Derby Land every Saturday and Sunday from July 1 to August 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Water play facilities include a 25-meter-long large air slide, various 3-meter-high air bounces, and a 10-meter-long air pool. A children's water pool with a depth of 50 cm, suitable for children under 120 cm in height, will also be operated.
In addition, exciting music, water gun fights, refreshing water cannons, ongoing gap-time events, vocal ensembles, cheerleading, and Taekkyeon dance performances will be held on various stages.
At the large sledding hill located to the left of Derby Plaza, cool water streams flow, allowing visitors to enjoy sledding at speed within the water streams.
During the Water Festival, visitors can easily meet popular ornamental horses such as ponies at Derby Plaza, and free pony riding tickets, which are very popular among child visitors, will be provided.
For visitors' convenience, simple changing rooms and showers are available, along with shaded rest areas such as Mongolian tents to escape the heat. Bringing personal tents or camping chairs is also allowed.
Various food trucks will be operated, and safety personnel will be deployed to ensure a safe and clean water play space. Facility management and water quality control will be thoroughly conducted.
