Ulsan Office of Education Supports Capacity Building for Dream Growth Mentor Group
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education is conducting capacity-building training for the Dream Kiwoom Mentor Group to provide effective counseling services to students at risk of school maladjustment and academic dropout.
On the 19th at 6 p.m., the Ulsan Office of Education will hold the first capacity-building training session for 32 members of the Dream Kiwoom Mentor Group at Jiphyeon Room.
In this training, Jeong Young-sook, director of the Family & Solution Counseling Center, will give a lecture titled "Starting from What Already Exists." The lecture is designed to teach mentee students how to effectively utilize their existing strengths and successful experiences.
The Dream Kiwoom Mentor Group consists of 32 members, including current teachers, professional counselors, counseling and career experts, and professionals.
They conduct continuous mentoring activities and operate the Academic Dropout Reflection System for students at risk of school maladjustment and academic dropout, helping students adapt well to school life through academic and career counseling as well as emotional support.
