Im Jong-guk, a member of the Gwangju Buk-gu Council, pointed out the absence of reading culture programs for people with disabilities in Buk-gu during the Economic Welfare Committee's administrative audit held on the 15th, emphasizing that diverse reading culture programs should be operated according to the types of disabilities.
Councilor Im stated, "The library department operates customized reading culture programs for various groups such as children, adults, and adolescents, but there are no programs for people with disabilities," adding, "Along with the significant increase in Buk-gu library infrastructure during the 7th and 8th local government terms, it is necessary to expand reading culture programs for people with disabilities who have been neglected so far."
