SKT Hosts 'K-AI Alliance Unite' in Silicon Valley, USA
On the 16th (local time), SK Telecom announced on the 18th that President Yoo Young-sang and representatives of partner companies of the 'K-AI Alliance' gathered in Silicon Valley to discuss ways to strengthen business cooperation to lead the global AI ecosystem.
This meeting was a follow-up event officially held after the announcement of the launch of the 'K-AI Alliance' in February at MWC23 held in Barcelona, Spain, to collaborate on AI business and jointly promote global expansion.

View original imageWith the addition of Korea's leading AI companies Cmes, MakinaRocks, Scatter Lab, and Friendlier AI to this AI alliance, SKT plans to expand the 'K-AI Alliance' with a total of 11 companies and seek various cooperation and global expansion opportunities.
The 11 companies are Cmes, MakinaRocks, Scatter Lab, Friendlier AI, Sapion, Bespin Global, Moloco, Conan Technology, Sweet, Phantom AI, and TwoArt.
At SKTA (SK Telecom Americas) located in Silicon Valley, SKT’s President Yoo Young-sang and key executives participated to share the company’s AI transformation vision and business plans with the alliance partner representatives. They also took time to discuss the latest AI trends centered in Silicon Valley, share research and development (R&D) technologies, and explore global business and investment opportunities.
In particular, Cmes, a company specializing in AI robotics software development, exchanged opinions on developing a Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) pricing plan and utilizing an AI-based RaaS subscription business model targeting enterprises. SKT plans to launch an emotional conversational AI agent within the A. service in collaboration with Scatter Lab, in which SKT has invested.
