'Wife Caddy' Yang Jiho's Comeback Cheer... "Victory in Japan Too"
Yang Jiho Hana Bank Invitational 4R 6 Under Par
Nakajima 2nd, Sato 3rd, Jang Donggyu 4th
Song Younghan 8th, Park Sanghyun 12th, Lee Jaekyung 22nd
Yang Ji-ho delivered a victory report from Japan as well.
On the 18th, at the Chiba Izumi Golf Club (par 73, 7,625 yards) in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, Yang Ji-ho shot 6 under par in the 4th round of the Hana Bank Invitational (total prize money 1 billion KRW), co-hosted by the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), securing a one-stroke victory (20 under par, 272 strokes). Since his first win in 133 tournaments at the KB Financial Live Championship last May, this marks his second career win on the Korean Tour, with a winner's prize of 200 million KRW.

Starting from a one-stroke tie for 3rd place, Yang Ji-ho collected one eagle and five birdies (with one bogey). He reduced two strokes in the front nine with birdies on holes 2 and 9, followed by an eagle on the 12th hole (par 5) and a birdie on the 14th hole (par 4). After a brief pause with a bogey on the 16th hole (par 4), he completed a thrilling come-from-behind victory with consecutive birdies on the 17th and 18th holes.
Yang Ji-ho debuted on the Korean Tour in 2008 but struggled to secure a win for a long time. After breaking his winless streak at last year's KB Financial Live Championship, he demonstrated his resilience by winning back-to-back titles. Notably, his wife Kim Yoo-jung carries his caddy bag and provides solid support, drawing attention. In this tournament, they worked together closely over four days to achieve the victory.
