About 500 veterans' families, including national merit recipients and heads of veterans' organizations, attended the event.
The district conveyed respect and gratitude by awarding certificates of commendation to 26 exemplary veterans who have dedicated themselves to the distribution of the Korean War Merit Medals and the promotion of veterans' culture.
Additionally, lively congratulatory performances such as folk songs and traditional percussion (gogochanggu) were added, creating a meaningful occasion where veterans' families enjoyed themselves and strengthened friendship and harmony.
