View original imageLim Hee-jeong withdrew during the second round of the DB Group 37th Korea Women's Open (total prize money 1.2 billion KRW) held on the 16th at Rainbow Hills Country Club in Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk (par 72, 6,712 yards). She gave up playing due to severe ankle pain while playing the 14th hole. Lim aimed to become the first player in 19 years since Song Bo-bae in 2004 to win the tournament consecutively, but injury held her back. She won last year's tournament setting the record for the lowest score ever (19 under par 269). Besides Lim Hee-jeong, Jo Ah-yeon, Han Jin-seon, Park Joo-young, Na Hee-won, Ma Seo-young, Kim Na-hyun2, and Baek Soo-bin also withdrew.
