20s Male Who Attacked Woman Met Online with Bladed Weapon Dies
A man in his 20s in Gangnam, Seoul, died after falling following an incident where he wielded a weapon against a woman he met online.
On the 16th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that at around 10:39 a.m., a man in his 20s, Mr. A, fell at a hotel near Sinsa Station in Seoul.
When authorities arrived at the scene, Mr. A was already deceased. The police reportedly determined that there was no suspicion of homicide.
Before his death, Mr. A wielded a weapon against a woman in her 20s, Ms. B, who was with him. Ms. B was immediately transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The two had met through chatting while playing an online game and were known to have stayed together at the hotel the previous day.
