Busan Seobu Education Support Office Holds Parent Training on Understanding the Free Semester System
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Western Support Office will hold the ‘2023 Academic Year Understanding of the Free Semester (Year) System Parent Training’ for 170 first-year middle school parents in the district at 2 p.m. on the 19th at the Saha District Office Second Building.
This training aims to inform parents about changes in future society education, directions for child education, and ways to empathize and communicate in relationships with their children.
At the training, Professor Oh Ki-young from the Department of Computer Convergence at Chungnam National University will give a lecture titled ‘The Direction of Child Education and the Free Semester System in the ChatGPT Era.’ Professor Oh will explain future society education during the lecture.
Following this, counselor Jung Hyun-joo from Yongho Middle School will teach communication techniques with children under the theme ‘Parental Heart Leadership That Moves the Minds of Adolescents.’
Lee Jae-han, Director of the Western Support Office of Education, said, “This training will be a great opportunity for parents to enhance their understanding of future education and the Free Semester (Year) System and to find ways to communicate with their children.”
