Webtoon Written by Practicing Doctor to Become Netflix Drama
Joo Ji-hoon, Chu Young-woo, Yoon Kyung-ho 'Severe Trauma Center'
The webtoon "Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour," written by a practicing doctor (Hansaniga), is being adapted into a drama. On the 16th, Netflix announced that Studio N and Mace Entertainment will produce "Severe Trauma Center." The story depicts events that unfold when Baek Gang-hyeok, a genius trauma surgeon, joins the severe trauma team at a university hospital where deficits accumulate the more patients they save. It thrillingly portrays how he leads the team with a strong sense of duty to transform the center into a place that saves lives. The cast includes Ju Ji-hoon, Chu Young-woo, Yoon Kyung-ho, Ha Young, and Jung Jae-kwang. The director is Lee Do-yoon, who directed the film "A Model Family" (2014), and the scriptwriter is Choi Tae-kang, who wrote the drama "Adamas" (2022).
