Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Soo-hee) announced on the 16th that it will recruit resident companies targeting social economy enterprises and youth startups by creating office space within the RF Tech building in Godeok Biz Valley.
A total of 8 resident companies will be selected this time, including 5 social economy enterprises and 3 youth startups.
Companies wishing to move in can submit their application documents by June 30. Final selection will be made through a first-round document review and a second-round presentation evaluation. Selected companies can rent the space free of charge for one year, excluding management fees. Based on evaluation, residency can be extended up to 3 years.
Eligibility for youth enterprises requires applicants to be between 19 and 39 years old as of the announcement date and to have been established for less than 7 years.
Social economy enterprises include (preliminary) social enterprises, (preliminary) village enterprises, and social cooperatives. Companies actively pursuing social value realization and willing to provide social services are eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to companies that have been located in Gangdong-gu for more than 3 months as of the announcement date or those that have not previously occupied the district’s social economy office space.
In January this year, KX Group also provided youth startup spaces free of charge for 3 years, with 4 youth enterprises currently operating there. The district plans to continuously communicate and cooperate to ensure that the community contributions of resident companies in Godeok Biz Valley lead to the growth of youth enterprises and job creation.
