Prime Minister Han vows "full deployment of all equipment and personnel" to control Daegu factory fire
Prime Minister Han Duck-soo instructed on the 15th regarding the fire that broke out at a recycling factory in Jungri-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu, saying, "Mobilize all available equipment and personnel to do your best to suppress the fire and prevent additional damage."
The Prime Minister's Office reported that Han gave this urgent directive to the Acting Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Commissioner of the National Fire Agency, the Commissioner of the National Police Agency, and the Mayor of Daegu on the same day.
Prime Minister Han said, "Take measures to prevent secondary damage to residents caused by the fire," and added, "If necessary, cooperate with local governments to take actions such as evacuating residents."
