L&K Biomed's Business Plan Including Supply to US 'Cedars-Sinai' Hospital
Spine implant specialist L&K Biomed held a corporate presentation (IR) on the 14th at its Seoul office for shareholders, introducing the company’s future growth vision, specific business status, and future plans to enhance corporate value.
At the event, L&K Biomed announced that it had decided to participate in the ‘ExcelFix-XTP’ project at Cedars Sinai, a major hospital in the LA area of the United States, and successfully signed a supply contract, drawing significant interest and expectations from the attending shareholders.
Cedars Sinai Hospital has 34 spine specialists and operates the largest single spine specialty center in the United States. According to data released this year by US NEWS & World Report, it is renowned for having 26 research-related departments and over 100 laboratories, and was ranked as the top hospital in California and second nationwide in the US hospital rankings.
Additionally, L&K Biomed explained that last month it successfully completed the world’s first surgery using the curved height-expandable cage for lateral lumbar fusion, ‘ExcelFix-XTP,’ in the United States, Australia, and Hong Kong, and has launched a large-scale project for the commercialization of ‘ExcelFix-XTP.’
A shareholder who participated in the presentation said, “It was very meaningful to confirm the company’s strong commitment to shareholder-friendly management as a core management policy,” and added, “I hope more opportunities will be created in the future to hear the diverse voices of shareholders.”
