Active Police Officer Transferred to Prosecutors for Molesting Woman at Entertainment Bar
An active-duty police officer was referred to the prosecution for forcibly molesting a woman at an entertainment bar.
The Gwangju Seobu Police Station announced on the 15th that they sent Sergeant A from a frontline police station to the prosecution without detention on charges of forcibly molesting a female customer by touching her body at an entertainment bar.
Sergeant A is accused of touching parts of Ms. B's body while dancing with acquaintances at an entertainment bar in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, last March.
After a complaint was filed with the Seobu Police Station regarding the incident, the police secured evidence to prove the charges and sent the case to the prosecution the day before.
