Woo diagnosed, "The biggest risk in the imminent super-aged society is brain health," adding, "Especially, if the age group between 40 and 60, which currently constitutes the largest population segment, does not properly train their brains, the entire Korean society will face risks that will be difficult to overcome, as clear as day." He emphasized, "In the super-aged era, prevention is the only way for all citizens to have healthy and sharp brains," and "There is no choice but to develop habits of brain-healthy exercise and intellectual activities and practice them daily."
Woo presented Hamanhacheon as a practical method. He introduced, "The exercise of walking 10,000 steps a day and writing 1,000 characters a day is the best and simplest way to maintain brain health, and it is being implemented as a nationwide movement in welfare-advanced countries such as those in Northern Europe." He continued, "Since Asia Economy started the Hamanhacheon movement, there has been enthusiastic interest from all walks of life," adding, "In fact, the 10,000-step walking exercise and hand-reading and writing exercises have already been practiced as brain health initiatives in various parts of society."
However, he expressed regret that until now, walking and writing exercises have mostly been carried out independently by individual associations or institutions and have not evolved into a nationwide movement, explaining the reason for launching the Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters. Woo said, "Through the development of the Hamanhacheon campaign, we confirmed the task of expanding and developing individual and sporadic brain health exercises into a nationwide movement," and "The Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters plans to systematically carry out the development of brain health promotion content and programs, spread the Hamanhacheon movement in local communities and workplaces, and build networking with related overseas organizations."

Woo stated, "As seen in the example of the walking village in Yeongdeok, Gyeongbuk, and the barefoot walking festival in Jangsu, Jeonbuk, the Hamanhacheon movement can also play a significant role in revitalizing local communities," and urged, "I hope everyone will unite their wisdom and efforts so that today's event will be recognized in the future as a contribution to the survival and prosperity of the community called Korea."
