'Jeonnam 1 City and County 1 Fire Station in Sight' Hong Yeong-geun, Jeonnam Fire Headquarters Chief, Inspects New Construction Site
Hong Young-geun, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, inspected the site for the new Gokseong Fire Station.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 14th, Jeonnam Fire is building the Gokseong Fire Station with the goal of "one fire station per city/county."
Currently, there are 20 fire stations in the Jeonnam area, and to ensure the safety of residents, the plan is to complete the installation of fire stations in all cities and counties within the province by the end of this year.
The Gokseong Fire Station will be a three-story building with a total floor area of 2,344.42㎡. Construction began on March 16, and it aims to open in November.
It will be organized into 3 departments, 2 119 Safety Centers, 1 119 Rescue Team, and 2 119 Regional Units, with 125 firefighting personnel and 23 vehicles responsible for the safety of approximately 27,000 Gokseong residents.
