T'way, New Incheon~Bishkek Route Launched
T'way Air announced on the 11th that it has launched its first regular flight route between Incheon and Bishkek. Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, characterized by mountainous terrain and a natural environment without deserts.
During the COVID-19 period, the airline steadily operated 22 charter flights on this route, preparing for expansion into Central Asia. Approximately 3,600 passengers and 75 tons of cargo were transported via these charter flights.

The Incheon-Bishkek route operates once a week, departing Incheon Airport around 4 PM on Sundays and arriving at Bishkek Airport at approximately 8:30 PM local time. The flight duration is about 7 hours, with a time difference of 3 hours between Korea and Kyrgyzstan.

The first flight on the 11th was fully booked, and the company reported that reservation rates are generally high through July. Most passengers are trekking travelers, local residents, and foreigners. Kyrgyzstan allows visa-free tourism for up to 60 days.
