Korean Air Employee Volunteer Group Conducts Social Contribution Activities in Thailand
Korean Air's in-house volunteer group visited the Chiang Dao area in Thailand for six days starting from the 8th, engaging in volunteer activities such as road paving and promoting traditional Korean culture, the company announced on the 14th. This area is a plateau located 2,100 meters above sea level north of Chiang Mai, lacking basic infrastructure for residents such as educational facilities, electricity, water supply, and medical services. They paved the unpaved roads in the local village, where falls frequently occur, with cement and painted the exterior walls of old buildings. They introduced traditional dances and Korean musical instruments and made Korean dishes popular among foreigners together.
