Pohang Cultural Foundation Announces Recruitment for 1st Session of Guryongpo Life Culture Center Cultural Classes
From the 14th to 23rd, 6 Cultural and Art Classes Including Minhwa, Photography, Resin Art, and Ceramics
The Pohang Cultural Foundation is recruiting the first session of the 2023 Culture Class at the Guryongpo Community Culture Center from the 14th to the 23rd.

View original imageThe Guryongpo Community Culture Center Culture Class is a regular cultural arts education program operated annually in two sessions for Pohang citizens, held once a week for a total of 12 weeks.
The first session of the Culture Class program consists of six courses: ▲ K-ART Decorative Minhwa ▲ Becoming a Photographer with a Smartphone ▲ Healing Resin Art ▲ 土dakdodak Pottery Making ▲ Ensemble Playing Together ▲ Facing Seoljanggu.
The tuition is free, but material costs may apply depending on the program. Applicants can fill out the application form attached to the announcement on the Pohang Cultural Foundation website and apply via email or visit the Guryongpo Community Culture Center in person. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Pohang Cultural Foundation.
A representative of the Pohang Cultural Foundation said, “Through participation in the various programs at the Guryongpo Community Culture Center, we hope citizens can engage in active cultural activities beyond just seeing and hearing culture, by directly playing music, drawing, and creating.”

At the Guryongpo Community Culture Center, a monthly resident artist invitational exhibition titled ‘Ara, Check-in’ is held. Following the June exhibition by artist Munsusanna (Minhwa), exhibitions by artist Kim Minseok (Photography) in July and artist Kim Sijun (Modeling) in August are scheduled to be held in the second-floor exhibition space.
