Military Mutual Aid Association Pays Tribute at National Cemetery During 'Month of Patriots and Veterans'
The Military Mutual Aid Association announced on the 13th that, in observance of the 'Month of Patriots and Veterans,' it paid respects at the Memorial Tower in the National Seoul National Cemetery to honor the spirit of sacrifice of the fallen patriots and war heroes, and carried out volunteer activities such as cemetery maintenance.

After the memorial service, Chairman Jung Jae-kwan stated, “We deeply engrave in our hearts the noble sacrifices of the war heroes and patriots who gave their lives for the independence of the Republic of Korea and the protection of liberal democracy, and we pledge to contribute to the stabilization of the lives and welfare improvement of military personnel and civilian employees, as well as to the enhancement of the armed forces' capabilities.”
Subsequently, about 50 executives and employees of the Military Mutual Aid Association visited the graves of the war heroes to replace floral tributes and clean the epitaphs as part of cemetery maintenance work. This cemetery maintenance activity was conducted with the intention of presenting a well-maintained cemetery to visitors paying their respects at the National Cemetery.
Meanwhile, every June during the Month of Patriots and Veterans, the Military Mutual Aid Association leads various activities including cemetery maintenance volunteer work at the National Seoul National Cemetery and campaigns for the Month of Patriots and Veterans, honoring the noble spirit of sacrifice of the fallen patriots and war heroes and promoting awareness of patriotism and veterans’ affairs.
