Used Goods Trading Platform Signs Voluntary Compliance Agreement with Fair Trade Commission and Consumer Agency
Establishing Public-Private Cooperation System to Protect User Rights on Danggeun Market and Bungaejangter
Used transaction platforms such as Danggeun Market and Bungaejangter announced on the 12th that they have signed the 'Used Transaction Platform Operators Product Safety and Dispute Resolution Agreement' together with the Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Consumer Agency for the sound development of the peer-to-peer used goods market.
This agreement was made to establish safety management standards for hazardous products and dispute resolution criteria. The used transaction platforms, the Fair Trade Commission, and the Korea Consumer Agency agreed to cooperate by ▲drafting a voluntary compliance agreement to ensure user safety and dispute resolution ▲jointly creating voluntary compliance guidelines ▲establishing general and item-specific dispute resolution standards for used transactions. In particular, the dispute resolution standards for used transactions reflect the technology and know-how of domestic used transaction platforms. Additionally, to facilitate smooth resolution of disputes arising between sellers and buyers in peer-to-peer transactions, specific agreement and recommendation standards for general and item-specific used transactions were presented.
On the 12th, participants are taking a commemorative photo at the voluntary compliance agreement ceremony for ensuring user safety and resolving disputes on online secondhand trading platforms.

Furthermore, platforms will actively provide information within their services so that users can easily check the list of hazardous products and comply with relevant laws, and sanctions against users who habitually sell hazardous products will be strengthened.
